New Political Ambient, New Protesting Methods?

The City is for All movement

After the spring of 2010 changing political ambient in Hungary made necessary the single-issue social-cultural movements to widen its set of protesting tools and habituate them to the new situation. These behavioural changes observed in the case of “The City is for All” movement, organised around the topic of homeless, could be interpreted as radicalisation in the means of applied protesting techniques. The aim of this paper is to analyse the teleological, morphological, structural properties of the movement in question and the political manifestations between the period of 01.01.2013 and 31.12.2013. by using qualitative methods. Th is study underlines that altering political ambient brings new tools in political protests, mostly as radicalisation of protesting behaviour.
