Taste Analysis and Big Data

The author of the article shows the potential of network analysis through a concrete Big Data project. It shows the way how Facebook likes are able to be organized into networks, and after data reduction, how they can model tastes of different people. The paper also points out the possibilities and the dangers that lie in corresponding human digital fingerprints (actions on the Internet), if they are analyzed with Big Data data-mining techniques.
