Introduction to Replika’s Giddens Issue

In Hungarian academia Anthony Giddens is well known as an author of textbooks and as a major theorist of the Third Way. Unfortunately, due to this his theoretical woks on society and on modernity are not really known. This issue of Replika aims to fill this gap with the publication of key writings on these topics and of interpretative articles.
